Actor Bio
Terry stars as the voice of Li’l Bit in The Magistical, a wonderful animation, landed principal roles in films and made-for-TV movies like “Funny Valentines” opposite Alfre Woodard and “Something Borrowed, Something Blue”, and was in the season premier episode of “One Tree Hill”. She has also appeared in numerous commercials and has had leading roles in corporate training videos.
Terry’'s perfect comedic timing and intense dramatic ability have afforded her wonderful theatrical roles. She stole scenes in “Sisters” (by Marsha A. Jackson) as the feisty, blue-collar janitor named Cassie Charles, in “COTO: Chocolate On The Outside” (by April C. Turner) as the exuberant Michelle Gentry and in “The Waiting Room” (by Sharon Agnew) as four characters: Maxine Boston, Desk Clerk, Crack Momma and Missy Gran.

Terry produced “Debra Terry’s Comedy All-Stars”, a monthly comedy show in which she booked the talent and coordinated advertisement, ticket sales and video production for a quality show to not only pay her colleagues but to also ensure they received a complimentary copy of their performance. She also published “Cha-Ching! Chat”, a monthly newsletter, so that her ‘frequent laughers’ were kept abreast of upcoming shows as well as special shows like auditions for HBO’s Def Comedy Jam and BET’s Comicview.
Terry was a radio personality and sidekick on the “Donnie Simpson Morning Show” (WPGC 95.5 FM) and helped make it the “#1 morning show” in a major market. Terry produced a benchmark feature on the show called “The Ladies’ Room” that appealed to men and women, boys and girls. She also wrote and rapped the catchy “The Ladies’ Room” jingle.
